Dial Telecom owns and operates an extensive infrastructure made of cables with optical fibers and the tubes for these optical cables. This backbone infrastructure, including the metropolitan, national and international optical network, forms the basis for the operation of higher layers of the network.
The technologies using the optical network as a base transmission layer are mostly based on DWDM, CWDM, L2 Ethernet and MPLS. The network has two independent 10 Gbps connections to NIX exchanges and two independent connections to transit IP providers, also with a capacity of 10 Gbps. Dial Telecom is a significant partner of foreign Internet exchanges (SIX, DECIX, AMSIX, VIX).
