To provide the connection, Dial Telecom uses optical connections (laser bridges, optical cables), microwave bridges (licensed dedicated band and non-licensed bands) or leased lines. Dial Telecom employees choose the suitable connection technology for the end point after careful consideration with respect to availability at the location and demanded capacity.
Dial Telecom is directly connected to the Czech Internet exchange, NIX. It is also a member of the most significant international Internet exchanges, DE-CIX, Kley-ReX, ECIX (Germany), AMS-IX (the Netherlands), LINX (Great Britain), SIX (Slovakia). Dial Telecom is also connected to Tier 1 providers of international connectivity. Internet connection services are provided using the nationwide backbone optical network with a length of over 4,300 km. Most of the backbone network is in locations with a special regime and higher security (along international gas pipelines) and the connection is backed-up within the backbone network. Thanks to these facts, the services provide top quality and availability.
In order to access the international Internet exchnages, Dial Telecom also uses its own optical networks with the minimum of active elements along the whole route. Thanks to this, it can offer uncontested values of delay and delay variation on the routes to the most significant world Internet exchanges (Prague – DE-CIX Frankfurt, approx. 9 ms) and even a standard end user can perceive faster response times while working on the Internet with the international connectivity of Dial Telecom. The optical network of Dial Telecom or wireless technologies that work in bands of 10.5 GHz, 26 GHz and other licensed bands are used as the access network.
The service includes:
- Internet connection of chosen speed guaranteed at all times (full duplex, 2Mbps up to n x Gbps)
