40 G more in the Dial Telecom network

At the end of July, Dial Telecom a.s., one of the leading providers of telecommunication services, launched another lambda with a total transmission capacity of 40 Gbps in its DWDM network between Prague and Frankfurt. This strengthening of the transit infrastructure is a step which had arisen from the requirements of Dial Telecom customers and confirms the trend of an ever-increasing volume of international data transportation. The total operated capacity between Prague and Frankfurt in the Dial Telecom DWDM network amounts to almost 200 Gbit/s.
Dial Telecom has been investing into the construction and operations of its own transmission infrastructure for a long time. It is in response to the increasing needs of customers on the backbone lines, both international and national.
