The Virtual Voice Operator service by Dial Telecom has become the IT product of 2012. The complete IT solution enables lesser operators to fully operate voice services with full coverage and their own operator’s ID without high start-up costs.

Dial Telecom a.s., one of the leading Czech providers of telecommunication services, has won IT Product of the Year 2012 in the category of voice services with its Virtual Voice Operator service in the prestigious poll. The contest is announced every year by the publishing house IDG Czech Republic. The Virtual Voice Operator service allows operators the possibility of a fully-fledged offering of telecommunication services to their customers without the necessity to operate their own infrastructure.

IT Product of the Year Award

The award ceremony took place on Monday, 26 November, 2012, in the restaurant V Zátiší in Prague 1. Martina Setunská, the marketing manager, accepted the award on behalf of Dial Telecom from the hands of Radan Dolejš, the chief editor of the magazine Computerworld. The awarded products and services are allowed to use the logo of the prestigous poll for their promotion. The IT Product of the Year has been awarded by the IDG Czech Republic publishing house  since 2006.

Thanks to the Virtual Voice Operator service, companies can use their own operator’s number (OpID), which uniquely identifies the provider of the voice network; it serves as identification among national operators and to route calls. The operators can use their own forms for porting numbers and represent themselves to their customer, they are not under the name of a big operator. The total infrastructure is provided directly by Dial Telecom; the customer saves the considerable entry fees that otherwise need to be paid when for its acquisition.

The transparent control of theservice is provided by Dial Telecom’s own portal application. It enables porting numbers among operators while all of the rules agreed on among the network operators are met. It also supports authorizing number porting  in the opposite direction. An integrated part of the service is the monitoring of the status of the ported numbers and possibility of returning the numbers to the original operator. The application automatically provides all communication among operators and simplifies the entry of lesser or beginning entities into the field of voice telecommunication operator of fixed networks.
