Leaders of Central European ICT companies meet in Prague

On 17 and 18 June, the conference premises of the Radisson Blu Alcron hotel in Prague will be the venue for a meeting of the most significant central European telecommunication companies. Already in its twelfth year, the prestigious Capacity CEE 2014 conference will serve as a platform for discussions about new technologies, as well as business strategies; it will also offer its participants an abundance of possibilities to cultivate new business opportunities. This year, along from the traditional networking lunches, the Capacity conference will also be dedicated to panel discussions with some of the most significant players in the ICT area. The introductory keynote by Mr. Ugur Oruncak from Turk Telecom International and the following panel discussion will deal with the consolidation of the regional wholesale market of telecommunication services, mergers and acquisitions in the area. This will be followed by a contribution from Tomáš Strašák, the Sales Director of Dial Telecom from the Czech Republic, on the efficient use of redundant transmission capacities (dark fibers). A discussion afterwards will be dedicated to this topic.
The second day of this conference will start in Polish style. Breakfast with Poland will see representatives of the ICT companies of our neighbors to the north present their telecommunication market and its characteristics to the participants. Shorter topic blocks will also be dedicated to the use of 100G transmission capacities, the IPX transmission technologies and cloud technologies. The final session will deal with the market forecast for the CEE countries.
