Glossary of terms - Frame Relay
A transmission network technology working with the switching of frameworks (data link layer) of variable lengths. It uses a configuration of virtual circuits between interconnected devices and the HDCL standard for framework transmission. Owing to its higher efficiency, it replaces X.25 networks.
